New company name better aligns with vision

Vancouver B.C. – Wild Coast Capital Inc., announced today that it has changed its name to Wild Coast Biologics Inc. The new name reflects the company’s vision to develop sustainable biological products that benefit food production and agriculture. 

“The company’s name change underscores our mission to develop natural products that improve how we grow food and feed people sustainably,” said Angie Harris Fernandes, CEO Wild Coast Biologics. “Agriculture is one of the top contributors to greenhouse gas emissions and chemical fertilizers are a key driver of those emissions. A core focus of the company is to help growers to be more profitable while decreasing the use of these harmful synthetic inputs."

Wild Coast Biologics., is a Vancouver-based biotechnology company that develops nanoparticle-based biocontrols and biofertilizers, that are enriched with microalgae metabolites, to increase soil quality, enhance crop productivity, and protect crops from diseases and pests.
